Youth Work Ireland Midlands platform works as a recognition tool which produces digital badges that can be awarded to learners to mark their achievements. When signing up for any activity on City of Learning and upon completing it, the learner will receive one or more digital badges.

Recognition of Learning - Digital Open Badges

Accessible anytime, anywhere, allowing learners to easily access and share accomplishments across different devices and platforms, catering to diverse learning styles and preferences.

Mapping Opportunities

Publish activities and make them readily available on a territory map. Specific filters and sorting tools will help find opportunities that match the needs and interests of learners.

Motivation and Engagement

The gamified nature of digital badges, often accompanied by clear criteria and pathways for earning them, can motivate learners to actively engage in learning activities, set goals, and track their progress.
