Content

The Creative Assistant role provides young people with the opportunity to explore their creativity while developing confidence, communication and teamwork skills. Through art, music and media activities, participants will discover their own interests, support others in creative projects and contribute to the creative life of the Acorn Project.

Throughout the programme, young people will work collaboratively with their peers, experiment with different forms of creative expression and develop a project that reflects their ideas and talents. As they progress, they will build confidence in sharing their work, encouraging others to participate and reflecting on how creativity can support wellbeing, identity and personal growth.

By completing this role, participants will gain practical experience of working as part of a team, supporting creative activities and recognising the positive impact that creativity can have on themselves and their community.
