Prepare Your Garden for winter
In this fun activity you will learn to cover selected plants with a frost proof barrier so as the plant will survive the winter. You will also learn to prune plants . This will insure the plant buds next growing season.
You will learn how to choose the correct tool for each job. You will work throughout the workshop conscious of health, safety and welfare principles which will keep everyone safe and healthy.
You will work as part of a team throughout in a collaborative and cooperative way.

In order to achieve this badge you must:
Wash hands before starting.
Cover selected plants with frost proof barrier and tie it shut with gardeners cord.
Prune selected plants with garden snips.
Move selected plants indoors.
Work in a safe manner at all times.
Clean tools after use and store in designated area.
Work as part of a team in a collaborative and cooperative way.
Wash hands when you finish.
