Earners of this badge will demonstrate the essential knowledge and hands on skills required to safely harvest garden produce, follow core health , safety, and personal hygiene procedures, and effectively communicate tasks within a community or school/garden setting.

1. Upload a photo to demonstrate correct handwashing before and after handling soil.
2. Upload a photo showing wearing appropriate PPE.
3. Provide written evidence that demonstrates knowledge of hazards in the garden and upload.
4. Complete the task matching the correct harvesting tool to the crop and upload.
5. Harvest 3 types of crop without damaging the main plant an upload photo.
6. Complete application of basic communications exercise and upload.
